Eat, Pray, Love @ the Earthling's Haven
Wednesday, March 15, 2006 The Fat Earthlings built her first sandcastle!!!

The earthlings at my workplace decided to have a sandcastle building session. We got a nice surprise as we thought we will be using old-fashion tools with the likes of small pails and spades to get the job done. We were presented with some "professional" moulds in the shapes of castle walls, stairs........etc. The result? Very pro - looking sandcastles!!!!

Friday, March 03, 2006 Han River - Korean BBQ

They have a wider selection of dishes as compared to Seoul Garden. Great service and staff are patient with requests and all. Free flow of soft ice-cream and jelly. Located at East-point Level 3, I think.

Finally, the Fat Earthling gets to eat authentic Ramen

Kyo - Nichi Restaurant 03-249 Marina Square.
We finally found the restaurant after 45 mins of walking around the different levels in Marina Square. The place's huge and our sense of direction were marred by our hunger and craving for good ramen. I tried the Charsiew Ramen (Spicy ) They have 3 versions for every ramen: Normal, spicy or thick stock. They are also really generous with their slices of char Siew, 4 big slices per serving. The soup's really addictive, much more flavourful than Ajisen's and hey! I don't get thirsty after drinking it which proves that not much MSG was added to the soup. Tried the side dishes, spicy fried squid a much crispier version of Old Chang Kee and the shrimps in batter which is just so GOOD!!!!!!! The set meal came with a red bean drink for about $15 ( Another goes for $ 12 but they serve canned drinks with that and your ramen choice has to be below $10.)
