The Fat Earthling has a good laugh at Bobo, the alien dog
We finally gave Bobo a good wash today. This is to get her all fresh and clean, ready for her year- Year of the Dog. Poor doggie was put on a "hammock" strung between 2 bamboo poles and left to dry in the sun. Sulking earthling and maman earthling got her in at night and build another hammock for her in the kitchen. She lies there, glaring at anyone who walked past the kitchen.
Ah Ying and Jingyi decided to show off their portioning skills. We looked on hungrily as the gals figure out the best way to scoop bee hoon .
Ah Ying entertained us with her crabby jokes and amused us further by imitating a crab. Diners around us gave her a standing ovation for a performance worthy of an Oscar. Move aside! Zhang Zhiyi!!!

Crab Bee Hoon soup!!! Yummy yummmy yummy....We couldn't stop slurping the soup. Felt rather sick later as the soup was too rich to drink in that manner!

Memoirs of a Fat Earthling's November and December 2005 holidays-Crab Feast
December 2005 is, but a month past, so it's not politically correct to use the word "Memoirs". But what the crap! I'm into my " Memoirs of a geisha" phase for the month of January and no amount of threats are going to obstruct my use of the word. Let me start off with the Crab Feast that took place in November. Alien Ying, the great foodie recommended this Melburn place at Ang Mo Kio. We decided to meet up at Bishan Junction 8 as it's nearer to the place. We had the chilli crab, baby sotong, cereal prawns, stir-fried kangkong and their famous crab mee hoon soup. Yummy! I have not eaten crabs for about a year as no one in my family fancies crab that much. I'm craving for their Kangkong and crab mee hoon as I'm typing this, but the rest of the dishes were just so-so. Going to try their butter and pepper crabs next time.

The Fat Earthling is back to work after a good break
I'm back to work. Was depressed a week before officially starting work. I wanna get down to posting new pics but was down with headaches and fatigue every weekend. Chinese New Year's coming and my room is a nightmare to behold. I'm going to start my healthy eating regime soon...after CNY. It will be salad and wholemeal bread with fresh milk and fruits....I'm not going to lose out to Alien Ying when it comes to losing weight. Looking forward to June Hols, dun have the same sentiments towards March hols as there will be 2 days of staff seminar and annual camp. Rainbows captured on digicam during trip to Bintan.
